Burnishing alone will not fix a failed film. Scrub-and-recoat will not fix a floor that needs a strip. The assessment decides which one you actually need.

Scrub & recoat removes only the top worn finish layer and adds 1–2 fresh coats. It is the lighter refresh between full strips when the base film is still sound — faster and less disruptive than a full strip.
How often should we scrub and recoat?
It depends on traffic and how the floor is maintained day to day. Many commercial sites run interim cycles on a planned program so the next full strip is scheduled, not an emergency. We recommend a cadence after seeing the floor.
Will scrub & recoat fix yellowed or deeply scratched floors?
Usually not. Yellowed, thick, or deeply scarred finish needs a full strip. If interim will not deliver a lasting result, we recommend strip & wax instead of selling a recoat that fails early.
